This Privacy Policy describes how Cyvia ("the App," "we," "us") handles information when you use the Cyvia Android application published by Khatib Studio on Google Play.
Cyvia is designed as a privacy-first, offline period tracker. The App does not require an account and does not transmit your logged health details (period dates, symptoms, moods, notes, intimacy logs, or vitals) to our servers or any remote database.
All health tracking data remains on your device unless you explicitly choose to export a backup file.
The following data is stored locally on your device only:
We do not collect, access, or store this health data on any server operated by Khatib Studio.
When you use features that involve third-party services, those services may collect limited technical data according to their own policies:

Logged health information is never shared with advertising networks.
Health data is stored in a SQLite database using Android Room, isolated within the App's private sandbox. Settings are stored in encrypted SharedPreferences where applicable.
Android automated cloud backup is disabled for Cyvia to prevent unintended upload of health records to cloud services. Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored data from your device.

We do not access, receive, or store backup files you create. You are solely responsible for securing exported files.
Cyvia displays advertisements through Google AdMob to support free use of the App. Ad characteristics:
AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data for ad personalization and measurement. You can manage ad personalization in your Google account settings. Our AdMob publisher ID is listed in our app-ads.txt file.
The optional "Remove Ads" premium purchase is processed entirely through Google Play Billing. We do not receive or store your payment card details. Purchase status is verified locally via Google Play services.
Data remains on your device until you delete it. You can permanently remove all data by:

Because we do not operate servers that store your health data, we cannot delete data on your behalf. Deletion must be performed on your device.
Cyvia is rated for general audiences (Everyone 10+). The App includes Minor-Safe Mode to suppress sensitive content. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The App does not require registration of any kind.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
